My training started  as a mature student when I undertook an undergraduate BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Science degree in Scotland .  On completion of my degree I immediately started Post Graduate Veterinary Physiotherapy training (a 2 year part-time course) whilst working full time. I have also trained in Horse, Saddle and Rider Evaluation, a LANTRA accredited course.  Over the years I have attended various courses to further improve my skills and knowledge and my training is continuous.  To maintain my memberships of the above associations I have to undertake an additional 25 hours  continuing professional development (CPD) every year, which I love as there is always something to learn.
